A day in town

It was a beautiful day the sky was blue not clouds to be seen so we took a ride down the cape and shopped our way back up. We drove back down to Eastham and stopped a cute antique store with very nice things and very high prices. Moving on. Stopped at a gift barn with lots of touristy stuff at good prices. I was tempted but didn't succumb. Next. Stopped at the Cape Cod Dog store. http://www.thecapecoddog.com/ I bought a buoy bell made into a wind chime attached to the clapper was a cut out of a lab, had to have it. Also, bought three magnets one yellow for Zeke, one black for Hunk, one chocolate for the future Hickory all say Lab-Adore. Next we went into downtown Wellfleet. I say downtown it was a block, if that, and one of the stores was the local grocery. It was cute stopped in a few stores nothing that I couldn't leave behind. We had lunch outside because Hunk was with us at a cute restaurant called Juice across from the water. Then we took Hunk for a walk along the beach. He had a great time. Back in the car to head up the road. Cape Cod is about three miles wide, if that, with one main road. How does one get lost in such a place. Well, we did. It was a pretty drive along the water but every road we took led us to a parking lot. We finally retraced our path to where we were and back out. Drove up to Truro, which is the town we are staying in, made a drive through of their city center. this was a shopping center with six, maybe only five storefronts. One grocery, one restaurant, and a few others. We didn't even stop. It was a beautiful leisurely day could ask for better weather. Maybe tomorrow we'll head up to P-town.
